Wilmington accountant accused of theft

WILMINGTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Investigators say a Clinton County accountant stole thousands of dollars from a Warren County business.

They say Michal Bean ran a Liberty Tax franchise in Wilmington, but took a secondary job to do accounting at Dad’s Gun Shop in Clearcreek Township.

Police say she took nearly $60,000 from the gun store.

Bean is now charged with one count of theft.

Clearcreek Township police caution anyone who may have used her accounting services to check over their books.
