Urbana Police investigate suspicious death

URBANA, Ohio (WDTN)- Urbana Police are investigating a suspicious death after a man was found dead on Sunday night.

The victim has been identified as 65 year old Jerald Myers.

Police found his body shortly before 9 p.m. at a home in the 500 block of South Kenton Street.

Officials tell 2 NEWS someone made a call to say there was a person injured inside that home. When officers arrived they discovered Myers’ body upstairs.

While conducting interviews police say a fight broke out. They arrested 38 year old Christopher Myers.

He is charged with felonious assault and domestic violence against his brother.

An autopsy is planned for Jerald Myers today.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting in the investigation.
