Truck jackknifes on Beavercreek road

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – A jackknifed semi truck blocked traffic in Beavercreek Tuesday night.

Treibein Road just north of Fairgrounds Roads is blocked.

Police say the car slowed to make a turn. The trucker didn’t see it in time and slammed on the brakes, causing the truck to jackknife.

The car and truck did not collide, so no one was hurt.

Treibein Road was closed for a couple of hours to get it cleared.  It re-opened around 10:00 p.m. after nearly three hours. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
