DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The woman with a connection in the disappearance of a Dayton mother and her son is out of jail as the search continues for the missing boy.
Tonisha Harris posted bond and was released from the Montgomery County Jail Wednesday afternoon to serve home detention.
Dayton police said Harris and Antwan Anderson used Nichelle McKnight’s stolen credit card.
Police believe Anderson killed McKnight and her 4-year-old son, Zaden.
Police say he killed himself after a short chase with police last week.
McKnight’s body was found April 11 near the Stillwater River in Harrison Township.
Her son has not been located.
Harris was being held eight charges related to the theft of McKnight’s credit card. Police said Harris got McKnight’s account information from Antwan Anderson and used it to steal more than $2,700.
