Demolition to begin for Dayton library expansion

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Watch for demolition crews in downtown Dayton.

The Webster Station building on the corner of Third Street and Patterson Boulevard is being torn down.

The demolition is making way for Dayton Metro Library expansion.

The library is in the midst of a $187 million expansion project.

The main library will add an operations center, public parking and a park.
