TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – A fist fight among students at Trotwood-Madison igh School resulted in a lockdown situation Thursday.

Trotwood police responded just before 10:30 a.m. after receiving a phone call from staff reporting the fight.

They say they got the students under control within a couple minutes of their arrival.

23 students were involved and are all charged with disorderly conduct charges.  All but two students were taken to the Juvenile Internention Center.  The other two are 18 years old, so they were jailed at the Montgomery County Jail.

The Trotwood-Madison City Schools suspended all of the students.

Police say the fight stemmed from accusations that a student stole some items from a classmate.

One student reported a minor injury, but was not removed to the hospital after medics checked the student.

Both police and school administrators are investigating whether any more charges are appropriate.
