Positive change on a deadly Dayton avenue

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Changes are happening along a stretch of road where a man was killed while crossing the street.

A crosswalk is now installed where Christopher Frock was struck by two cars along Gettysburg Avenue in March. He was trying to get to the bus stop near the Gateway Men’s Shelter.

There is also a light that will turn red when people press the button to cross.

His family urged the city to install a crosswalk to avoid another tragedy.  Brighter street lights were also in the plans for improvements.
