Deadly stabbing suspect faces 3 counts of murder

ENGLEWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Charges were approved by the Montgomery County Prosecutors Office Friday following a homicide in Englewood.

John Cochran faces three counts of murder and two counts of felonious assault after police said he stabbed his roommate to death and injured another Wednesday night inside a house in the 5500 block of Savina Avenue.

The second roommate injured in the attack is out of the hospital and expected to be OK.

This was Englewood’s first first homicide in seven years.

Cochran remains in the Montgomery County Jail.
