DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A Dayton man was taken into custody on multiple charges after police say they found him breaking into a building.
William Bean, 36, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering, obstructing official business, resisting arrest, possessing criminal tools, drug possession, and drug paraphernalia.
Officers were dispatched to 25 Indianola Avenue after 9:30 a.m. Friday on reports of a suspicious person.
When officers arrived, they found Bean had broken into a building.
Police said he tried to run away from them but they caught up with him.
Officers said Bean was carrying two prescription bottles full of miscellaneous white pills, a heroin capsule, a Brillo pad, and a book bag full of criminal tools.
Bean was booked into the Montgomery County Jail.
