Public Health changes clinic appointment policy

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County is changing the way it services clients.

Public health clinics located at 117 S. Main Street in downtown Dayton are from ‘walk-in service’ to an ‘appointment for services’ model.

The change takes effect June 2.

The clinics included in this change are Immunizations, Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) and Tuberculosis (TB).

The change is being made in an effort to increase client satisfaction and enhance staff efficiency, said Public Health’s Bill Wharton.
