GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – Firefighters in Greenville were called to three garage fires early Tuesday and the fire chief says they were all intentionally set.

The first fire was reported in the 500 block of Ash Street just before 2 a.m. A short time later, firefighters responded to a fire in the 400 block of Short Street. The third fire started in the 100 block of Sweitzer Street around 4 a.m.

Greenville Fire Chief Mark Wolf tells 2 NEWS two of the structures were heavily damaged. He believes the same person or group is responsible for all three fires.

His message is clear.

“Stop. We are pretty good at catching people lighting arson fires in this town.We will catch them,” Wolf said.

No injuries were reported at any of the fire scenes.
