JEFFERSON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A Jefferson Township family cannot stay in their home tonight after a wall collapse in the basement of their home.

Firefighters were called to the 2600 block of Olt Road around 5:00 p.m.

Crews say the age of the house couldn’t handle the saturated ground after all the rain.

They told the family they cannot stay in the house until surveyors inspect it and give the all-clear that it is safe.

No one was hurt.
