Riverside man convicted of child sex abuse

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) – A Riverside man was convicted Wednesday of raping children.

Michael Bohannon, 60, was also convicted of 16 other felony counts including creating child pornography.

The crimes were discovered when one of his victims told her father about the abuse.

Police believe there were five victims total.

Bohannon will serve 25 to 40 years in prison and labeled a sex offender as part of a plea agreement.

He’ll have to register his address every 90 days.

Formal sentencing is June 27.
