TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Demonz reached a new agreement Thursday to play hockey for another season at Hara Arena.

The reigning champions of the Federal Hockey League will return for their third season of action.

“We’re looking forward to our third season here in Dayton as we defend the cup,” said Dayton Demonz team owner, Barry Soskin. “We couldn’t ask for better fans, and truly appreciate their support over the last two years. This season promises to bring even more excitement than last year with the addition of at least one or two more teams to the FHL. We know that our loyal fans will enjoy that, and hopefully they will bring along their friends and families to share in the excitement.”

The Demonz are the first championship team in Dayton since the 1975-76 Dayton Gems.

Head Coach Trevor Karasiewicz returns as will coach Jack Collins.

The team’s season schedule has yet to be released, but season tickets go on sale June 9.
