Police reports teen abuse of over the counter meds

CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) – The Celina Police Department is reporting seeing children in their mid teens abusing over the counter medications recently.

They said the abuse has resulted in at least three hospitalizations and the most recent incident it is believed to involve the medication Coricidin, referred to as “triple C” by kids.

Investigators said the medication is being obtained without knowledge of parents and other family members.
