DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two Dayton police officers will not be charged for a deadly shooting.

A Montgomery County grand jury decided Friday that there was not enough evidence to move the case forward.

Sgt. Eric Sheldon and Officer Michael Saylors shot and killed Terry Heath, 45, when they say he pulled a knife and threatened them at the UDF on Wyoming Street.

Sheldon and Saylors returned to work earlier his week.
