The Lift Your Leg Run and Walk for Strays was held Saturday morning at Reynolds and Reynolds South Lot located at One Reynolds Way in Kettering.

The 5 and 10K races kicked off at 8:30 a.m., with the 1.5 mile walk beginning at 9 a.m.

There were also vendors on hand, along with entertainment, face painting, and a photo booth.

Awards were given in several age categories, including those running with and without a dog, as well as fundraising awards for those who raised additional donations.

The event is not only a major fundraiser but also a chance for SICSA to share the animal welfare message with the Miami Valley.

This was the third year for the run portion of the event and the 17th year for the walk.
