DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Montgomery County grand jury declined to indict anyone in the fatal shooting at a Dayton travel stop.

The jury heard four days of testimony abot the shooting death of Goran Sojic at the Loves Travel Stop on Edwin C. Moses Boulevard on December 8, 2013.

It agreed that the actions of Sojic prompted a security guard to “fear for his life” and the safety of others.

Prosecutors say Joshua Karp shot Sojic as he charged him and refused to stop at the guard’s commands.
