Wright State offers tuition for WPAFB employees

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – Wright State University will offer $7,500 for graduate degree tuition to Wright Patterson Air Force Base active duty, civilian personnel, and some family members.

The amount is applied each year.

The announcement was made Tuesday morning during a news conference.

“Wright State continues to grow partnerships that support Wright Patterson Air Force Base, ” said Dr. David Hopkins, WSU president.

His comments are included with Senator Sherrod Brown who said, “This innovative program led by Wright State will help both civilian employees and service members at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base achieve their dream of earning a graduate degree.”

Eligible students apply for the scholarship after they have been admitted to their graduate program.
