Huber Heights police ID assault suspect


HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) – Huber Heights police tracked down a man wanted for aggravated assault.

Police say Dante Dubose, 34, is charged with Aggravated burglary.  Investigators say he took off running after crashing his van on Bellefontaine Road near Center Point Boulevard.

It started around 2 a.m. Wednesday when police said the suspect broke into the home of a woman he knows and assaulted the woman and a man she was with.

The man was taken to the hospital with what police say are severe facial injuries.

The suspect drove away in the van, but was spotted by an officer.

The Dubose is being held in the Montgomery County Jail.  He is charged with aggravated burglary.

A grand jury will consider whether more charges will be filed.
