City wants to change employee policy

XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) – The City of Xenia is looking to make some changes for its employees.

The city council is asking city administrators to draft a new policy that will better address where and when city employees can work their hours, that according to council President Mike Engle.

2 NEWS Investigates has learned this comes after an employee in the law director’s office became the subject of an investigation.

Engle says that person was found not at fault, but chose to resign.

He told 2 NEWS Investigates policy needs to be more clearly stated, so workers know what is expected of them.
