Dayton Air Show adds new act to roster

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Vectren Dayton Air Show announced a new act to this year’s lineup.

The U.S. Coast Guard will demonstrate search and rescue techniques during its performance.

The four person team from Detroit will maneuver a helicopter to save a mock swimmer in distress before the crowd.

The air show is just weeks away June 28 and 29.

The Coast Guard joins a roster including the Navy Blue Angels, the Marine Corps Harrier and the Air Force Academy’s Wings of Blue among others.
