The DeLorean is probably best remembered as the car turned into a time machine in the Back to the Future movies.

The original DeLorean Motor Company was formed by automobile industry executive John DeLorean in 1975. The company produced just one model, the DeLorean DMC-12, before folding in 1982.

While in town, Delorean owners will attend a dinner with Andrew Probert as the keynote speaker. Probert is an industrial designer and worked on Back to the Future as a designer and illustrator. Other cast and crew members from the movie will also be in attendance.

A car show, trade show, and a tech seminar are on Saturday’s schedule.

Headquarters for the 2014 event is the Dayton Marriott Hotel.

The last time the show was in Ohio was in Cleveland in 2000. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
