Father indicted for assaulting 2-month-old daughter

BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio (WDTN) – A Logan County father was indicted Thursday, accused of assaulting his 2-month old daughter.

Steven Cummins, 20, of Huntsville, is charged with three counts of child endangering.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office reports that Cummins caused serious injuries to his daughter in May.

The child’s injuries were reported authorities by Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus after doctors concluded the child’s injuries were “suspicious in nature”.
