BELLBROOK, Ohio (WDTN) – Bellbrook police officers hit the streets Thursday evening.

Chief Doug Doherty as well as a sergeant and a lieutenant walked the neighborhood meeting with residents and answering any questions or concerns.

All three are fairly new faces to the department and the chief decided this was the best way to introduce themselves.

“We want people to know that we’re here to serve them. We’re here to help so what better way to do it than to speak to people directly, face to face, one on one,” said Police Chief Doug Doherty.
