New cancer center promises high paying jobs

MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A development deal was signed in Miami Township Thursday that promises high paying jobs.

The Miami Township Board of Trustees signed off on the plan with Clivus Development to bring the Proton Therapy Center to a stretch of land at Miamisburg-Springboro Pike and Wood Road.

The $100 million project will be a cancer treatment center that uses proton beam therapy technology.

“We are pleased to continue the relationship we have with Clivus Development and we look forward to the positive impact Miami Township will be making in the patients’ lives that will be treated at this medical center.”

There is also the possibility of future medical buildings at the site. No word on when construction is set to begin.
