WILMINGTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Seven men said they are not guilty of hazing at Wilmington College.

Our partners at the Wilmington News Journal reported the pleas Friday.

Tyler Lawrence was pledging Gamma Phi Gamma last October when court records indicate he was hurt when struck with a towel “fashioned as a weapon.”

Four of those charged are from the Miami Valley.

Seven others entered written not guilty pleas earlier.

They all could spend 30 days in jail if a jury convicts them.

The fraternity cannot apply to return to campus for five years.
