DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Two pit bulls were taken from a Dayton home after police said they bit a man’s roommate.

Officers and medics responded to the 100 block of Indianola Avenue Friday around 7:30 p.m.

The victim told police his roommate was gone for most of the day, but when he returned the two of them got into an argument. The victim said his roommate then grabbed him by the throat and then told his two dogs to attack. The victim said the animals charged at him and bit his right arm.

The victim was able to get away from the dogs and get outside.

His roommate then left the home.

The pit bulls were taken away by the Animal Resource Center.
