Gaming brings big job turnout

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Hundreds turned out Monday for a chance to get a job with the new Hollywood Gaming Racino that opens this fall in Dayton. The Racino is being built at Needmore and Webster in Dayton.

More than 200 came for the next step in the hiring process. That group had already gone through job readiness which prepared them to work in the gaming industry. Another 700 showed up to work through the application process.

The positions include bartenders, player services, cooks, cashiers, cocktail servers and facilities technicians.
