New acts added to air show lineup

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – New acts are lining up to join the Vectern Dayton Air Show which is less than two weeks away.

Two warbirds will take to the sky June 28 and 29.

One is a fighter plane that helped win World War II.

The other is a rare version of a carrier-based fighter.

You’ll be able to see the planes both in flight and on the ground.

Other acts include a Coast Guard demonstration, the US Navy Blue Angels, the Marine’s Harrier demonstration squad, and the Air Force parachute team. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
