CINCINNATI (WDTN) – In Cincinnati overnight, a giant sinkhole opened up in the middle of the street, swallowing the back half of a metro bus.

The bus driver was the only person on board.

She said she felt the pavement give way under the bus’ back wheels.

About an hour before the accident, police said city crews were out investigating a buckle in the road.

Police said the hole is about 10 feet by 15 feet wide and 20 feet deep.
