Police: Serial robbers strike twice since midnight

WEST CARROLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Police are searching for two suspected serial robbers who they said have struck twice since midnight.

The latest happened at 6:24 a.m. at the Meijer gas station on Springboro Pike where a man walked in banging an handgun on the counter and demanding cash.

Investigators believe he is one of the same suspects that robbed a West Carrollton Speedway gas station around 12:30 a.m.

They said one of the the men usually flashes a gun while wearing dark clothes, a fishing hat, and a white a mask. Police think the second man waits in a getaway car while the robbery is taking place.

Investigators said they believe the suspects stole a vehicle before at least two of the robberies.

The two are suspected in more than a half a dozen robberies and attempted robberies in the past week in the Dayton area.
