1 arrested after metal company break-in

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is behind bars after police say he broke into metal contractor company.

Brian Renner, 45, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering.

Police were called to Leo B. Schroeder Inc.at 1229 East Third Street around 1:30 a.m. Friday on reports of two people throwing rocks at the window.

When officers arrived, they noticed the plexiglass in the front door was broken.

Police said when they went inside, they found Renner sitting at a desk with the drawers open.

Renner told officers he was trying to get a bus ticket to go home.

Police handcuffed Renner and booked him into jail for breaking and entering.
