DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A reunion was held in downtown Dayton to reminisce about one of the city’s longtime festivals that celebrated the traditional arts and rhythms of the world.
The Cityfolk Reunion Festival was held Sunday afternoon at Courthouse Square.
The event was filled with music, food, and fun for all families. The Zoot Theatre Company was on hand to provide entertainment for children. Kids could make drums, have their faces painted, or take part in a puppet show.
A few people who volunteered with the festival for years planned the gathering to share in the good memories of the Cityfolk Festival.
They reserved Courthouse Square Sunday to host the free event.
The event lasts until 7 p.m.
The annual Cityfolk Festival ended in 2013 after 30 years due to insufficient funding.
