Fight with relatives leaves man critically injured

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A man is in critical condition following a reported fight with his brother-in-laws.

Police were called to the 500 block of South Euclid Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Saturday for an assault complaint. A call advised a piece of the victim’s skull may have been on the porch.

When police arrived, officers said the victim had blood covering his face and dripping from his mouth, right eye, and temple area.

According to witnesses, the victim had been drinking with relatives all day when he got into an argument with his two brother-in-laws and then was hit.

A homicide call out was issued and detectives and evidence crews were called to the scene.

The victim was taken to Miami Valley Hospital where he is stable but listed in critical condition.

It is still unclear who hit the victim.

Police are still investigating the incident.
