Masked suspects walks away empty-handed

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A suspect walks away empty-handed after he attempted to rob a Dayton gas station.

The incident happened at the Shell gas station at 1650 Woodman Drive around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to the manager, a masked man walked into the store, pointed a gun, and demanded the manager open the office door behind the front counter.

The manager refused and the suspect left the store without taking anything.

The suspect is described as a white male, wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, gray sneakers, white gloves, and a black mask over his face.

Police are in the process of reviewing surveillance video.
