Country star to perform for KMC gala

KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – Country star Martina McBride will be part of the Kettering Medical Center Foundation’s Heart to Heart Gala this year.

She will perform Saturday, November 8 at the Schuster Center in downtown Dayton.

This year’s celebration is part of the Kettering Medical Center’s 50th anniversary celebration.

“We are especially grateful that so many members of the Kettering family plan to attend this Heart to Heart Gala,” says Dr. Roy Chew, president of Kettering Medical Center “The Ketterings have been important both in starting the hospital and in inspiring so many others to join them in the philanthropy that makes Kettering Medical Center what it is today one of America’s top hospitals.”

McBride’s performance is part of her Everlasting Tour. She has racked up 20 top ten hits and is ranked as the most played woman in country music between 1999 and 2010.

The Heart to Heart Gala raises funds to benefit cardiac programs. It raised $6.5 million so far that provided state of the art surgery equipment, education programs and outreach.
