Driver in Walmart parking lot accident cited

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – The driver that struck a pedestrian Saturday in the parking of the Beavercreek Walmart is being cited.

Kathy Shaw of Waynesville Ohio was issued a citation for operating a motor vehicle without reasonable control.

The woman hit, 20 -year-old Mona Saeed Alsadiq, was treated at Miami Valley Hospital and has been released.

Police and witnesses said said Shaw came around the corner striking the victim before slamming into other objects, including a yellow Monte Carlo.

Shaw has been ordered to appear in Fairborn Municipal Court June 30.
