A full roster of air show acts begin to arrive

The opening act of the Vectren Dayton Air Show was announced Tuesday.

VANDALIA, Ohio (WDTN) – High flying air show acts are making their way to town.

Pilot Sean Tucker will be giving a young contest winner a special flight Wednesday morning.

Look for the U.S. Navy Blue Angels to fly into town Thursday morning around 9:00 a.m. The team is the headline act at Saturday and Sunday’s Vectren Dayton Air Show.

Other aerial acts to perform include:

  • Marine Corps C-130 “Fat Albert”
  • Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier
  • F-86 Sabre
  • Air Force Wings of Blue
  • Coast Guard HH-65 Dolphin
  • P-51D Mustang “Baby Duck”
  • F4U-5 Corsair
  • Team AeroShell
  • Patty Wagstaff

There are also plenty of static display on the air show grounds.

The gates open at 9:00 a.m. Flight acts begin at noon each day.
