City of Dayton announces July 4th fireworks festival

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The City of Dayton announced its plans for Fourth of July fireworks this year.

This year’s display is entitled Lights in Flight. The celebration is planned for Thursday, July 3.

A festival gets underway at 5:00 p.m. at RiverScape MetroPark. It will include plenty of music, food and beverages.

The fireworks are set to go off at 10:00 p.m. over the Great Miami River.
