Homicide charge pending in deadly West Carrollton motorcyle crash

WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) – One person was killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a car Wednesday night.

The accident happened at the intersection of Alex Bell Road and Kimberly Lane in West Carrollton around 9:30.

The victim, 42-year old Russell Terrell, Jr. was taken to Kettering Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

Brent Barger, 36, was arrested at the scene. He is being held on a preliminary charge of Aggravated Vehicular Homicide.

Investigators say Barger cut in front of Terrell, causing Terrell to be thrown from his bike.
