WASHINGTON TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Ohio Governor John Kasich is offering his condolences after the death of Representative Terry Blair at age 67.
Kasich said in a written statement:
“I was saddened to hear of the passing of Representative Terry Blair. He served Montgomery County well, was dedicated to his work in the House and as chair of the State and Local Government Committee and was liked by his colleagues. My family’s thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, Judy, and their children and grandchildren at this difficult time.”
According to the Ohio House of Representatives web site, Blair was a Republican representing the 42nd District which covers the southern portions of Montgomery County.
He was in his third term in the Ohio House of Representatives. He also served as a Washington Township trustee for 21 years.
Rep. Blair, from Washington Township, is survived by his wife, four children and eight grandchildren.
