DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after suspects robbed a Domino’s delivery driver at gunpoint, took off in his car, and then hit another driver.

The incident happened Thursday around 5:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Burleigh Avenue.

The victim said he and a co-worker were delivering a pizza when three suspects approached him with a gun and demanded him to empty his pockets. The three suspects then got into his 2003 green Ford Taurus and fled the scene.

The two Domino’s workers ran to a nearby house to call for help.

While police were en route to meet with the delivery driver, another call came in reporting that a car was hit by a green Ford Taurus speeding in the area of Hoover Avenue and Walton Avenue. When the victim got out of his car, he said a person in the Taurus showed a gun and told him to get back in his vehicle. The Taurus then fled westbound on Hoover Avenue.

The victims told police they believed the suspects were anywhere from 16 to 21 years old.

The Ford Taurus has since been recovered.
