SPRINGBORO, Ohio (WDTN) – 2 NEWS Investigates has learned that the former Springboro bus driver sentenced for driving a school bus under the influence has yet to serve her jail time.
Sherry Callahan was sentenced to five days in jail.
She was cited for DUI in December 2013. We first reported that Callahan blew a .05 which is over the legal limit for the type of license she has as a bus driver.
She pleaded guilty and paid her fines and court costs, but still no jail time.
We’re told the magistrate issued a stay until her attorney files a report from a physician for review. He has until July 9 to file the report.
Children were onboard the bus when Callahan was cited in December 2013, but none were hurt.
