DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office is doing its part to keep drivers safe on area roadways this holiday weekend.

The ArriveSafe program offers free cab rides home for Montgomery County residents.

The rides will be offered from 6 p.m. Thursday, July 3 through 6 a.m. Sunday, July 6.

All you have to do to get a ride home is make a phone call to 449-9999 and wait until your taxi arrives. The ride is free up to a $50 fare.

Prosecutor Mat Heck says more than 4,000 people got a free ride home since the program started in December 2007.
