WEST CARROLLTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The West Carrollton Fire Department announced its selling pink t-shirts with a pink fire-hose ribbon and ‘For A Cure’ logo to raise money for a local breast cancer organization.

The deadline to order the shirts is 4 p.m. on Monday, July 21. Order forms can be downloaded on the city website or picked up at the Civic Center, 300 E. Central Ave. The cost is $15 for short-sleeve and $20 for long-sleeve azalea-colored shirts, with additional costs for sizes 2x-6x.

The fire department personnel will wear the shirts as their ‘duty’ shirts during the month of October.

Last year, the department donated $677 from the sale of the shirts to the Pink Ribbon Girls – a nonprofit organization which offers free services such as housekeeping, babysitting and meals for patients who are fighting breast cancer. Visit http://www.pinkribbongirls.org for more information.
