CELINA, Ohio (WDTN) – An Indiana teen helped rescue a woman whose car crashed into a lake.

Celina police say the 76-year-old woman fell asleep behind the wheel and drove into Grand Lake St. Marys.

She wasn’t hurt, but had to climb onto the roof of her car as it starting to sink.

A 15-year-old Indiana boy saw what happened and swam out to the woman.

He brought her a life jacket and stayed with her until the fire department pulled her to safety.
