Crews fight fire at vacant house in Trotwood

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Firefighters are investigating a fire at a vacant house in Trotwood.

They were called to the house at 110 Hanna Street around 4:30 Thursday morning. The home was destroyed. The battalion chief tells 2 NEWS there is some minor damage to the siding of neighboring homes.

Firefighters had to wait for crews from Dayton Power and Light to arrive and turn off the electricity before they could get to the back of the house, where wires were down.
