DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – It should be a beautiful Fourth of July holiday weekend.

While we could get a spotty shower Thursday afternoon, our next best chance for rain is not until Monday.

“Fourth of July parades should stay nice and dry and so will fireworks displays,” said Storm Team 2 meteorologist Jamie Jarosik. “If you’re planning on seeing fireworks tonight, the low is a comfortable 67.”

The temperature for fireworks time Friday night is 70 with clear skies for the best view.

Bright sunshine should fill out the rest of the holiday weekend.
