Vacant house fire called suspicious

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN)

A vacant house fire in Dayton is being called suspicious.

Fire crews arrived at 314 Royal Street around 4 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Firefighters tell 2 NEWS they had to take a defensive approach at the vacant home.

2 NEWS spoke with a woman at the scene. She says she just bought the home.

Crews say witnesses saw small children playing near the home before it caught fire.

The fire is under investigation.
